May.lis is a ceramics studio by Melbourne, Australia based artist Mel, creating sculptural, handcrafted pieces that celebrate the fun of imperfection.

She creates playful and unique objects by mixing coloured clays, nerikomi style. Mel is particularly obsessed with crafting clay bums, pieces that celebrate the beauty of the human form.

Each piece is built slowly by hand in small batches, with a focus on capturing quirks and personality. Her work is a reflection of creativity and expression through texture, form, and a touch of cheekiness.
